Shelter LinkThe River Church was founded with four couples meeting in pastor's living room with a vision to create a dynamic and engaging community of believers who are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with the world. Inspired by the teachings of the Bible and the life of Jesus, our founding members came together with a shared desire to create a church that was relevant, inclusive, and welcoming to all. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, but our commitment to our mission has remained steadfast.
Today, we are a thriving community of believers who are passionate about serving our community and sharing the hope and love of Christ with all those around us.
We believe that God has called us to be a light in the darkness and to bring hope to a hurting world, and we are committed to fulfilling that calling with humility, compassion, and love.

Maundy Thursday, 7:00 pm: All are invited for scripture readings, singing, and Holy Communion.

At our church, we believe that worship is a vital part of our relationship with God, which is why we prioritize creating a modern and engaging worship experience for our congregation. We use contemporary music, including guitars and drums, to create an energetic and uplifting atmosphere that invites people to connect with God through song and reflection. Our worship services are designed to be both relevant and biblically sound, with lyrics that reflect biblical themes and messages that are grounded in the truth of Scripture. Our pastors and worship team work together to create a seamless worship experience that combines music, prayer, and teaching to draw people closer to God and to each other. We believe that worship is a transformative experience that has the power to change lives and strengthen our faith, and we strive to make it a central part of our church community.
Kids and Teens meet during the Worship Service.
We do weekly Bible study groups in homes around town. Members of our church community gather in smaller groups to dive deeper into Scripture, share personal experiences and insights, and encourage one another in their faith journeys, fostering a sense of community and mutual support among the participants. Ask Pastor Ed which Small Home Group is right for you.
Our Recovery and Grief Meeting is a safe and supportive environment where individuals who are struggling with addiction, loss, or other challenges can come together to share their experiences, receive emotional support and practical guidance, and learn coping skills to help them navigate their journey towards healing and recovery. Led by trained therapists or experienced volunteers, these meetings often involve group discussions, prayer, and other therapeutic exercises designed to promote healing and personal growth. The goal of these meetings is to provide a space where people can find hope, comfort, and strength as they work through their challenges and move towards a brighter future.
The Men's Ministry at The River Church is a community of men who seek to grow in their faith and become better leaders in their families, workplaces, and communities. We believe that every man is called to live a life of purpose, service, and integrity, and we strive to provide opportunities for men to connect, grow, and serve together. Through regular meetings, Bible studies, retreats, and service projects, we seek to build meaningful relationships and provide support and encouragement to one another. Our goal is to help men become the best version of themselves, as they follow Jesus and make a positive impact in the world around them.
We have an amazing Women's Ministry at our church that is all about creating a community of women who love and support each other. We believe that every woman has a unique calling and purpose, and we want to help you discover yours! We have regular meetings, Bible studies, and fun events where you can connect with other women and grow in your faith. We also love to serve our community together, so if you're looking for ways to make a difference, we've got you covered. Whether you're new to the faith or have been a believer for years, we would love to have you join us on this journey of growth and discovery!
Our Kids Ministry at church is just amazing! We have a ton of fun activities and programs for kids of all ages, from silly games to cool crafts and awesome music. We believe that learning about God should be exciting and engaging, which is why we have the best team of volunteers who love working with kids and making sure they have a blast while they learn. We have Sunday School classes with great teachers who use fun and creative ways to teach Bible stories, and we have Children's Church during the main service where kids get to worship and learn in a way that's just for them. And let's not forget about our annual Vacation Bible School, which is like the biggest party of the year! Kids get to dress up, sing and dance, and play games while they learn about God's love.
We've got awesome leaders who know how to keep things lit and make us feel like we belong. We meet up regularly to play games, listen to dope music, and have deep convos about life and faith. We also go on some pretty epic trips and adventures, like camping, hiking, and going to concerts. But it's not just about having fun - we also get to serve our community and make a positive impact in the world. Whether you're a believer or just curious, we're all about creating a chill and welcoming vibe where you can be yourself and grow in your faith. So come through and join the fam, we'd love to have you!
